 mÄdhurya - sweetness; bhagavattÄ-sÄra - the quintessence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; vraje - in Vá¹›ndÄvana; kaila - did; paracÄra - propagation; tÄhÄ - that; Å›uka - Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ«; vyÄsera nandana - the son of VyÄsadeva; sthÄne sthÄne - in different places; bhÄgavate - in ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam; varṇiyÄche - has described; jÄnÄite - in order to explain; tÄhÄ Å›uni' - hearing those statements; mÄte - become maddened; bhakta-gaṇa - all the devotees.

“The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, is full in all six opulences, including His attractive beauty, which engages Him in conjugal love with the gopÄ«s. Such sweetness is the quintessence of His qualities. Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ«, the son of VyÄsadeva, has described these pastimes of Kṛṣṇa throughout ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam. Hearing the descriptions, the devotees become mad with love of God.â€
