'kevalÄ'ra Ĺuddha-prema 'aiĹvarya' nÄ jÄne
aiĹvarya dekhileo nija-sambandha se mÄne
kevalÄra - of unmixed attraction for KášášŁáša; Ĺuddha-prema - unalloyed love; aiĹvarya - opulence; nÄ jÄne - does not know; aiĹvarya - opulence; dekhileo - in spite of experiencing; nija-sambandha - one's own relationship with KášášŁáša; se mÄne - he takes very seriously.
When a devotee reaches the stage of pure, unalloyed devotion, especially in friendship with KášášŁáša, he forgets the Lordâs opulences, although he sees them, and he considers himself equal to KášášŁáša. There is no question of actually comparing oneself to KášášŁáša, but because the devotee is so advanced in KášášŁáša consciousness, he is able to behave with KášášŁáša as he would with an ordinary man.
