avatÄrÄ« nÄrÄyaṇa, kṛṣṇa avatÄra
teá¹…ha catur-bhuja, iá¹…ha manuá¹£ya-ÄkÄra
avatÄrÄ« - source of incarnations; nÄrÄyaṇa - Lord NÄrÄyaṇa; kṛṣṇa - Lord Kṛṣṇa; avatÄra - incarnation; teá¹…ha - that; catuḥ-bhuja - four arms; iá¹…ha - this; manuá¹£ya - like a man; ÄkÄra - form.
Some scholars argue that because NÄrÄyaṇa has four hands whereas ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa has only two, NÄrÄyaṇa is the original Personality of Godhead and Kṛṣṇa is His incarnation. Such unintelligent scholars do not understand the features of the Absolute.
