prasanna ha-ila saba jagatera mana
'hari' bali' hinduke hÄsya karaye yavana
prasanna - joyful; ha-ila - became; saba - all; jagatera - of the whole world; mana - the mind; hari - the holy name of the Lord; bali' - saying; hinduke - unto the Hindus; hÄsya - laughing; karaye - do so; yavana - the Muslims.
Although Muslims, or non-Hindus, have no interest in chanting the holy name of the Lord, the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahÄ-mantra, the Muslims in NavadvÄ«pa imitated the Hindus as they chanted during the lunar eclipse. Thus the Hindus and Muslims joined together in chanting the holy name of the Lord when ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu advented Himself.
