etad yonÄ«ni bhÅ«tÄni sarvÄṇīty upadhÄraya ahaá¹ ká¹›tsnasya jagataḥ prabhavaḥ pralayas tathÄ [6]

  1. upadhÄraya–Understand; iti–that; sarvÄṇi bhÅ«tÄni–all living species, moving and stationary; etat yonÄ«ni–are manifest from these two types of praká¹›ti, or natures, as ká¹£etra and ká¹£etrajña (vide 13.12). aham prabhavaḥ–I am the source of manifestation; tathÄ pralayaḥ–and dissolution; ká¹›tsnasya–of the entire;[6]

Know that all species, either moving or stationary, are manifest from these two natures as the field of action and the knower of the field; and I alone am the cause of the manifestation and dissolution of the entire universe.
