(he) pÄṇá¸avaḥ–O Arjuna; yam–that which; (sudhiyaḥ)–the learned; prÄhuḥ–call; sannyÄsam iti–sannyÄs, complete renunciation; viddhi– you should know; tam (eva) yogam–as yoga; hi–since; asannyasta-saá¹…kalpaḥ–without renunciation of fruitive attachment (the basis of niá¹£kÄm karma-yoga); na kaÅ›chana–no one; bhavati–can be; yogī–a yogÄ«.
