yathÄ–As; dÄ«paḥ–a lamp-flame; nivÄta-sthaḥ–in a windless place; na iá¹…gate–does not waver; –such; upamÄ–an analogy; smá¹›tÄ–is cited; yoginaḥ–of the yogÄ«; Ätmanaḥ–the soul-centred; yogam–yoga; yuñjataḥ–practitioner; yata-chittasya–of unwavering one-pointed mind. [19]

It is said, as a lamp-flame situated in a windless place does not waver, similarly, the mind of the yogī absorbed in the self never flickers in its concentration.
