iá¹£á¹Än bhogÄn hi vo devÄ dÄsyante yajña-bhÄvitÄḥ tair dattÄn apradÄyaibhyo yo bhuá¹…kte stena eva saḥ [12]
devÄḥ–The demigods (as limbs of My universal form); yajña-bhÄvitÄḥ (santaḥ)–being pleased by sacrifices; dÄsyante–will bestow; vaḥ– upon you; iá¹£á¹Än bhogÄn–desired enjoyable objects. hi–Therefore; yaḥ–he who; bhuá¹…kte–enjoys; taiḥ dattÄn–food provided by the demigods; (vṛṣá¹yÄdi dvÄreṇa)–via the rain, etc.; apradÄya–without making any offerings (of that food); (pañcha-yajña-Ädhibhiḥ)–by means of the five kinds of sacrifices, etc.; ebhyaḥ–to those demigods, who are all under My shelter; saḥ–that person; stenaḥ eva–is but a thief.
