daivÄ« sampat–The godly qualities; matÄ–are described; vimoká¹£Äya–as the cause of liberation; ÄsurÄ« (cha)–and the demoniac qualities; nibandhÄya–as the cause of bondage. (he) pÄṇá¸ava–O son of PÄṇá¸u; (tvam)–you; abhijÄtaḥ asi–are born to a destiny; daivÄ«m sampadam–of the godly and virtuous qualities; mÄ Å›uchaḥ–so do not fear. [5]

The godly qualities have been described as the cause of liberation, and the ungodly qualities have been described as the cause of bondage. O PÄṇá¸ava, do not fear, for you are born of a godly nature.
