idaá¹ jñÄnam upÄÅ›ritya mama sÄdharmyam ÄgatÄḥ sarge ’pi nopajÄyante pralaye na vyathanti cha [2]

upÄÅ›ritya–Taking refuge in; idam–this; jñÄnam–knowledge; (jÄ«vaḥ)–the living being; ÄgatÄḥ (santaḥ)–attaining; sÄdharmyam–the same (spiritual) nature; mama–as Mine; na upajÄyante–is neither born; sarge api–in the universal manifestation; na vyathanti–nor suffers; pralaye cha–in the universal dissolution. By taking refuge in this knowledge, the soul attains to My nature. Then he is neither born in the cosmic manifestation, nor does he suffer (death) in the cosmic dissolution.
