दिग्देशकालाव्युत्पन्नो बालकः पञ्चहायनः ॥८॥
ahaá¹ ca tad-brahma-kule
Å«á¹£ivÄá¹s tad-upeká¹£ayÄ
dig-deÅ›a-kÄlÄvyutpanno
bÄlakaḥ pañca-hÄyanaḥ
Only five years old, inexperienced with time, place and direction, I lived in a brÄhmaṇa house, with the belief that she would never leave me.
Tad-apeksaya means “with the expectation that she would not give me up.â€
