yasya kᚣaáša-viyogena
loko hy apriya-darĹanaḼ
ukthena rahito hy eᚣa
máštakaḼ procyate yathÄ
This and the verses following till verse thirteen are all connected with âthe lordâ in verse five. An example is given to show that what was attractive becomes repulsive without life (ukthena). Esa refers to persons like a father.
