tīre - on the bank;sthāna - place;nā pāñā - not having gotten;āra - other;kata - some;jana - persons;jale nāmi' - getting down into the water;dadhi-ciḍā - yogurt and chipped rice;karaye bhakṣaṇa - began to eat.
