tat -- with that; ambhasa -- water; maha-bhagah -- very pious; atmanam -- himself; sa -- along with; griha -- his house; anvayam -- and his family; snapayam cakre -- he bathed; uddharshah -- overjoyed; labdha -- having attained; sarva -- all; manah-rathah -- desires.

With the wash water, the virtuous Srutadeva copiously sprinkled himself, his house and his family. Overjoyed, he felt that all his desires had now been fulfilled.
