sabhāyāḿ maya-kḷptāyāḿ
kvāpi dharma-suto 'dhirāṭ
vṛto 'nugair bandhubhiś ca
kṛṣṇenāpi sva-cakṣuṣā
āsīnaḥ kāñcane sākṣād
āsane maghavān iva
pārameṣṭhya-śrīyā juṣṭaḥ
stūyamānaś ca vandibhiḥ
sabhayam -- in the assembly hall; maya -- by Maya Danava; klptayam -- constructed; kva api -- on one occasion; dharma-sutah -- the son of Yamaraja (Yudhishthira); adhirat -- the emperor; vritah -- accompanied; anugaih -- by his attendants; bandhubhih -- by his family members; ca -- and; krishnena -- by Lord Krishna; api -- also; sva -- his own; cakshusha -- eye; asinah -- seated; kancane -- made of gold; sakshat -- in person; asane -- on a throne; maghavan -- Lord Indra; iva -- as if; parameshthya -- of Brahma, or of supreme rulership; sriya -- with the opulences; jushtah -- joined; stuyamanah -- being praised; ca -- and; vandibhih -- by the court poets.
Srila Sridhara Svami explains that Lord Krishna is described here as Yudhishthira's special eye since He advised the King on what was beneficial and what was not.
