tatah -- then; te -- they; deva-yajanam -- the place for worshiping the demigods; brahmanah -- the brahmanas; svarna -- gold; langalaih -- with plows; krishtva -- furrowing; tatra -- there; yatha-amnayam -- according to the standard authorities; dikshayam cakrire -- they initiated; nripam -- the King.

The brahmana priests then plowed the sacrificial ground with golden plowshares and initiated King Yudhishthira for the sacrifice in accordance with the traditions set down by standard authorities.
