eka-bāhv-akṣi-bhrū-karṇe

śakale dadṛśuḥ prajāḥ

eka -- with one; pada -- leg; uru -- thigh; vrishana -- testicle; kati -- hip; prishtha -- side of the back; stana -- chest; amsake -- and shoulder; eka -- with one; bahu -- arm; akshi -- eye; bhru -- eyebrow; karne -- and ear; sakale -- two pieces; dadrisuh -- saw; prajah -- the citizens.

The King's subjects then saw him lying in two separate pieces, each with a single leg, thigh, testicle, hip, shoulder, arm, eye, eyebrow and ear, and with half a back and chest.
