śrī-śuka uvāca
ekaikaśas tāḥ kṛṣṇasya
putrān daśa-daśābaāḥ
ajījanann anavamān
pituḥ sarvātma-sampadā
sri-sukah uvaca -- Sri Sukadeva Gosvami said; eka-ekasah -- each one of them; tah -- they; krishnasya -- of Lord Krishna; putran -- sons; dasa-dasa -- ten each; abalah -- the wives; ajijanan -- gave birth to; anavaman -- not inferior; pituh -- to their father; sarva -- in all; atma -- His personal; sampada -- opulences.
Lord Krishna had 16,108 wives, and thus this verse indicates that the Lord begot 161,080 sons.
