śańkhaḿ dadhmau vinirgatya

harir dāruka-sārathiḥ

tato 'bhūt para-sainyānāḿ

hṛdi vitrāsa-vepathuḥ

sankham -- His conchshell; dadhmau -- blew; vinirgatya -- upon going out; harih -- Lord Krishna; daruka-sarathih -- whose chariot driver was Daruka; tatah -- thereupon; abhut -- arose; para -- of the enemy; sainyanam -- among the soldiers; hridi -- in their hearts; vitrasa -- in terror; vepathuh -- trembling.


Texto

As Lord Krishna came out of the city with Daruka at the reins of His chariot, He blew His conchshell, and the enemy soldiers' hearts began to tremble with fear.
