hatam -- killed; kuvalayapidam -- the elephant Kuvalayapida; drishtva -- seeing; tau -- the two of Them, Krishna and Balarama; api -- and; durjayau -- invincible; kamsah -- King Kamsa; manasi -- in his mind; api -- indeed; tada -- then; bhrisam -- exceedingly; udvivije -- became anxious; nripa -- O King (Parikshit).
