pratiyāte tu devarṣau
kaḿsa ābhāṣya keśinam
preṣayām āsa hanyetāḿ
bhavatā rāma-keśavau
pratiyate -- having left; tu -- then; deva-rishau -- the sage among the demigods; kamsah -- King Kamsa; abhashya -- addressing; kesinam -- the demon Kesi; preshayam asa -- he sent him; hanyetam -- the two should be killed; bhavata -- by you; rama-kesavau -- Balarama and Krishna.
Before having Krishna and Balarama brought to Mathura, Kamsa tried sending one more demon to Vrindavana.
