sri-sukah uvaca -- Sri Sukadeva Gosvami said; anvicchantyah -- searching out; bhagavatah -- of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; margam -- the path; gopyah -- the gopis; aviduritah -- not far away; dadrisuh -- saw; priya -- from Her beloved; visleshat -- because of the separation; mohitam -- bewildered; duhkhitam -- unhappy; sakhim -- their friend.

Sukadeva Gosvami said: While continuing to search out Krishna's path, the gopis discovered their unhappy friend close by. She was bewildered by separation from Her lover.
