eko kṛṣṇārbha-bhāvanām

rińgayām āsa kāpy ańghrī

karṣantī ghoṣa-niḥsvanaiḥ

daityayitva -- imitating a demon (namely Trinavarta); jahara -- carried away; anyam -- another gopi; eka -- one gopi; krishna-arbha -- of the infant Krishna; bhavanam -- who was assuming the mood; ringayam asa -- crawled about; ka api -- one of them; anghri -- her two feet; karshanti -- dragging; ghosha -- of tinkling bells; nihsvanaih -- with the sounding.


Texto

One gopi took the role of Trinavarta and carried away another, who was acting like infant Krishna, while yet another gopi crawled about, her ankle bells tinkling as she pulled her feet.

Significado

The gopis started imitating all of Sri Krishna's pastimes, beginning from His earliest activities as a baby.
