याते शूद्रे तमन्योऽगादतिथिः श्वभिरावृतः ।
राजन् मे दीयतामन्नं सगणाय बुभुक्षते ॥८॥

atithiḥ Å›vabhir Ävá¹›taḥ
rÄjan me dÄ«yatÄm annaá¹
sagaṇÄya bubhuká¹£ate

 yÄte - when he went away; Å›Å«dre - the śūdra guest; tam - unto the King; anyaḥ - another; agÄt - arrived there; atithiḥ - guest; Å›vabhiḥ Ävá¹›taḥ - accompanied by dogs; rÄjan - O King; me - unto me; dÄ«yatÄm - deliver; annam - eatables; sa-gaṇÄya - with my company of dogs; bubhuká¹£ate - hankering for food.

When the śūdra went away, another guest arrived, surrounded by dogs, and said, “O King, I and my company of dogs are very hungry. Please give us something to eat.â€
