na bhetavyaá¹ kÄlakÅ«á¹Äd
viá¹£Äj jaladhi-sambhavÄt
lobhaḥ kÄryo na vo jÄtu
roá¹£aḥ kÄmas tu vastuá¹£u
na - not; bhetavyam - should be afraid; kÄlakÅ«á¹Ät - of kÄlakÅ«á¹a; viá¹£Ät - from the poison; jaladhi - from the ocean of milk; sambhavÄt - which will appear; lobhaḥ - greed; kÄryaḥ - execution; na - not; vaḥ - unto you; jÄtu - at any time; roá¹£aḥ - anger; kÄmaḥ - lust; tu - and; vastuá¹£u - in the products.
It appears that by the churning process many things would be generated from the Ocean of Milk, including poison, valuable gems, nectar and many beautiful women. The demigods were advised, however, not to be greedy for the gems or beautiful women, but to wait patiently for the nectar. The real purpose was to get the nectar.
