सत्यव्रतस्य सततं दीक्षितस्य विशेषतः ।
नानृतं भाषितुं शक्यं ब्रह्मण्यस्य दयावतः ॥१२॥

nÄná¹›taá¹ bhÄá¹£ituá¹ Å›akyaá¹
brahmaṇyasya dayÄvataḥ

 satya-vratasya - of MahÄrÄja Bali, who is fixed in truthfulness; satatam - always; dÄ«ká¹£itasya - of he who was initiated into performing yajña; viÅ›eá¹£ataḥ - specifically; na - not; aná¹›tam - untruth; bhÄá¹£itum - to speak; Å›akyam - is able; brahmaṇyasya - to the brahminical culture, or to the brÄhmaṇa; dayÄ-vataḥ - of he who is always kind.

“Our lord, Bali MahÄrÄja, is always fixed in truthfulness, and this is especially so at present, since he has been initiated into performing a sacrifice. He is always kind and merciful toward the brÄhmaṇas, and he cannot at any time speak lies.
