tulyaiśvarya-bala-śrībhiḥ
sva-yūthair daitya-yūthapaiḥ
pibadbhir iva khaá¹ dá¹›gbhir
dahadbhiḥ paridhīn iva
vṛto vikarṣan mahatīm
ÄsurīṠdhvajinīṠvibhuḥ
yayÄv indra-purīṠsvá¹›ddhÄá¹
kampayann iva rodasī
tulya-aiÅ›varya - equal in opulence; bala - strength; Å›rÄ«bhiḥ - and in beauty; sva-yÅ«thaiḥ - by his own men; daitya-yÅ«tha-paiḥ - and by the chiefs of the demons; pibadbhiḥ - drinking; iva - as if; kham - the sky; dá¹›gbhiḥ - with the sight; dahadbhiḥ - burning; paridhÄ«n - all directions; iva - as if; vá¹›taḥ - surrounded; vikará¹£an - attracting; mahatÄ«m - very great; ÄsurÄ«m - demoniac; dhvajinÄ«m - soldiers; vibhuḥ - most powerful; yayau - went; indra-purÄ«m - to the capital of King Indra; su-á¹›ddhÄm - very opulent; kampayan - causing to tremble; iva - as if; rodasÄ« - the complete surface of the world.
