तृतीयां वडवामेके तासां संज्ञासुतास्त्रयः ।
यमो यमी श्राद्धदेवश्छायायाश्च सुतान्छृणु ॥९॥

tá¹›tÄ«yÄá¹ vaá¸avÄm eke
tÄsÄá¹ saá¹jñÄ-sutÄs trayaḥ
yamo yamÄ« Å›rÄddhadevaÅ›
chÄyÄyÄÅ› ca sutÄñ chṛṇu

 tá¹›tÄ«yÄm - the third wife; vaá¸avÄm - Vaá¸avÄ; eke - some people; tÄsÄm - of all three wives; saá¹jñÄ-sutÄḥ trayaḥ - three issues of Saá¹jñÄ; yamaḥ - one son named Yama; yamÄ« - YamÄ«, a daughter; Å›rÄddhadevaḥ - ÅšrÄddhadeva, another son; chÄyÄyÄḥ - of ChÄyÄ; ca - and; sutÄn - the sons; Å›á¹›á¹‡u - just hear about.

It is said that the sun-god had a third wife, named Vaá¸avÄ. Of the three wives, the wife named Saá¹jÃ±Ä had three children — Yama, YamÄ« and ÅšrÄddhadeva. Now let me describe the children of ChÄyÄ.
