मयास्मै यद् वरो दत्तो मृत्युर्नैवार्द्रशुष्कयोः ।
अतोऽन्यश्चिन्तनीयस्ते उपायो मघवन् रिपोः ॥३८॥

má¹›tyur naivÄrdra-Å›uá¹£kayoḥ
ato 'nyaś cintanīyas te
upÄyo maghavan ripoḥ

 mayÄ - by me; asmai - unto him; yat - because; varaḥ - a benediction; dattaḥ - has been granted; má¹›tyuḥ - death; na - not; eva - indeed; Ärdra - by either a moist; Å›uá¹£kayoḥ - or by a dry medium; ataḥ - therefore; anyaḥ - something else, another; cintanÄ«yaḥ - has to be thought of; te - by you; upÄyaḥ - means; maghavan - O Indra; ripoḥ - of your enemy.
