Å›rÄ«-rÄjÄ uvÄca - King ParÄ«ká¹£it said; bÄdarÄyaṇe - O son of BÄdarÄyaṇa (VyÄsadeva); etat - this; te - from you; Å›rotum icchÄmahe - desire to hear; vayam - we; hariḥ - the Lord Hari; yathÄ - the manner in which; gaja-patim - the King of the elephants; grÄha-grastam - when attacked by the crocodile; amÅ«mucat - delivered.
