इत्युक्त्वोपरतं पुत्रं हिरण्यकशिपू रुषा ।
अन्धीकृतात्मा स्वोत्सङ्गान्निरस्यत महीतले ॥३३॥

nirasyata mahī-tale

 iti - thus; uktvÄ - speaking; uparatam - stopped; putram - the son; hiraṇyakaÅ›ipuḥ - HiraṇyakaÅ›ipu; ruá¹£Ä - with great anger; andhÄ«ká¹›ta-ÄtmÄ - made blind to self-realization; sva-utsaá¹…gÄt - from his lap; nirasyata - threw; mahÄ«-tale - upon the ground.

After PrahlÄda MahÄrÄja had spoken in this way and become silent, HiraṇyakaÅ›ipu, blinded by anger, threw him off his lap and onto the ground.
