padÄny adhyÄtma-caká¹£uá¹£Ä
Å›rÄ«-brÄhmaṇaḥ uvÄca - the brÄhmaṇa replied; veda - know very well; idam - all these things; asura-Å›reá¹£á¹ha - O best of the asuras; bhavÄn - you; nanu - indeed; Ärya-sammataḥ - whose activities are approved by civilized men; Ä«hÄ - of inclination; uparamayoḥ - of decreasing; ná¹á¹‡Äm - of the people in general; padÄni - different stages; adhyÄtma-caká¹£uá¹£Ä - by transcendental eyes.
