अथ काल उपावृत्ते कुमारः समजायत ।
जनयन् शूरसेनानां शृण्वतां परमां मुदम् ॥३२॥

atha kÄla upÄvá¹›tte
kumÄraḥ samajÄyata
janayan śūrasenÄnÄá¹
śṛṇvatÄá¹ paramÄá¹ mudam

 atha - thereafter; kÄle upÄvá¹›tte - in due course of time; kumÄraḥ - the son; samajÄyata - took birth; janayan - creating; Å›Å«rasenÄnÄm - of the inhabitants of Śūrasena; Å›á¹›á¹‡vatÄm - hearing; paramÄm - the highest; mudam - delight.

Thereafter, in due course of time, a son was born to the King. Hearing news of this, all the inhabitants of the state of Śūrasena were extremely pleased.
