vidyÄ-tapo-yoga-balÄnubhÄvaḥ
sa sampad-aiÅ›varya-madÄndha-buddhir
nÄ«tas tiraÅ›cÄá¹ gatim indra-patnyÄ
tÄvat - for so long; triṇÄkam - the heavenly planet; nahuá¹£aḥ - Nahuá¹£a; Å›aÅ›Äsa - ruled; vidyÄ - by education; tapaḥ - austerities; yoga - mystic power; bala - and strength; anubhÄvaḥ - being equipped; saḥ - he (Nahuá¹£a); sampat - of so much wealth; aiÅ›varya - and opulence; mada - by the madness; andha - blinded; buddhiḥ - his intelligence; nÄ«taḥ - was brought; tiraÅ›cÄm - of a snake; gatim - to the destination; indra-patnyÄ - by Indra's wife ÅšacÄ«devÄ«.
