tata upariá¹£á¹Äd dvi-laká¹£a-yojanato naká¹£atrÄṇi meruá¹ daká¹£iṇenaiva kÄlÄyana īśvara-yojitÄni sahÄbhijitÄá¹£á¹Ä-vimÅ›atiḥ
tataḥ - from that region of the moon; upariá¹£á¹Ät - above; dvi-laká¹£a-yojanataḥ - 200,000 yojanas; naká¹£atrÄṇi - many stars; merum - Sumeru Mountain; daká¹£iṇena eva - to the right side; kÄla-ayane - in the wheel of time; īśvara-yojitÄni - attached by the Supreme Personality of Godhead; saha - with; abhijitÄ - the star known as Abhijit; aá¹£á¹Ä-vimÅ›atiḥ - twenty-eight.
The stars referred to herein are 1,600,000 miles above the sun, and thus they are 4,000,000 miles above the earth.
