किम्पुरुषे वर्षे भगवन्तमादिपुरुषं लक्ष्मणाग्रजं सीताभिरामं रामं तच्चरण
सन्निकर्षाभिरतः परमभागवतो हनुमान् सह किम्पुरुषैरविरतभक्तिरुपास्ते ॥१॥

kimpuruá¹£e vará¹£e bhagavantam Ädi-puruá¹£aá¹ laká¹£maṇÄgrajaá¹ sÄ«tÄbhirÄmaá¹ rÄmaá¹ tac-caraṇa-sannikará¹£Äbhirataḥ parama-bhÄgavato hanumÄn saha kimpuruá¹£air avirata-bhaktir upÄste

 Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« continued to speak; kimpuruá¹£e vará¹£e - the tract of land known as Kimpuruá¹£a; bhagavantam - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; Ädi-puruá¹£am - the original cause of all causes; laká¹£maṇa-agra-jam - the elder brother of Laká¹£maṇa; sÄ«tÄ-abhirÄmam - who is very pleasing to mother SÄ«tÄ, or who is the husband of SÄ«tÄdevÄ«; rÄmam - Lord RÄmacandra; tat-caraṇa-sannikará¹£a-abhirataḥ - one always engaged in service at the lotus feet of Lord RÄmacandra; parama-bhÄgavataḥ - the great devotee celebrated throughout the universe; hanumÄn - His Grace HanumÄnjÄ«; saha - with; kimpuruá¹£aiḥ - the inhabitants of the tract of land known as Kimpuruá¹£a; avirata - continuous; bhaktiḥ - who possesses devotional service; upÄste - worships.

ÅšrÄ«la Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said: My dear King, in Kimpuruá¹£a-vará¹£a the great devotee HanumÄn is always engaged with the inhabitants of that land in devotional service to Lord RÄmacandra, the elder brother of Laká¹£maṇa and dear husband of SÄ«tÄdevÄ«.
