anuÅ›Äsya manur dhruvam
tenÄbhivanditaḥ sÄkam
ṛṣibhiḥ sva-puraṠyayau
evam - thus; svÄyambhuvaḥ - Lord SvÄyambhuva Manu; pautram - to his grandson; anuÅ›Äsya - after giving instruction; manuḥ - Lord Manu; dhruvam - to Dhruva MahÄrÄja; tena - by him; abhivanditaḥ - being offered obeisances to; sÄkam - together; ṛṣibhiḥ - with the sages; sva-puram - to his own abode; yayau - went.
