एवं स्वायम्भुवः पौत्रमनुशास्य मनुर्ध्रुवम् ।
तेनाभिवन्दितः साकमृषिभिः स्वपुरं ययौ ॥३५॥

anuÅ›Äsya manur dhruvam
tenÄbhivanditaḥ sÄkam
ṛṣibhiḥ sva-puraṠyayau

 evam - thus; svÄyambhuvaḥ - Lord SvÄyambhuva Manu; pautram - to his grandson; anuÅ›Äsya - after giving instruction; manuḥ - Lord Manu; dhruvam - to Dhruva MahÄrÄja; tena - by him; abhivanditaḥ - being offered obeisances to; sÄkam - together; á¹›á¹£ibhiḥ - with the sages; sva-puram - to his own abode; yayau - went.

Thus SvÄyambhuva Manu, after giving instruction to Dhruva MahÄrÄja, his grandson, received respectful obeisances from him. Then Lord Manu and the great sages went back to their respective homes.
