चित्तेन हृदयं चैत्यः क्षेत्रज्ञः प्राविशद्यदा ।
विराट्तदैव पुरुषः सलिलादुदतिष्ठत ॥७०॥

cittena hṛdayaṠcaityaḥ
ká¹£etra-jñaḥ prÄviÅ›ad yadÄ
virÄá¹­ tadaiva puruá¹£aḥ
salilÄd udatiṣṭhata

 cittena - along with reason, consciousness; há¹›dayam - the heart; caityaḥ - the deity presiding over consciousness; ká¹£etra-jñaḥ - the knower of the field; prÄviÅ›at - entered; yadÄ - when; virÄá¹­ - the virÄá¹­-puruá¹£a; tadÄ - then; eva - just; puruá¹£aḥ - the Cosmic Being; salilÄt - from the water; udatiṣṭhata - arose.

However, when the inner controller, the deity presiding over consciousness, entered the heart with reason, at that very moment the Cosmic Being arose from the causal waters.
