हिरण्मयादण्डकोशादुत्थाय सलिले शयात् ।
तमाविश्य महादेवो बहुधा निर्बिभेद खम् ॥५३॥

utthÄya salile Å›ayÄt
tam ÄviÅ›ya mahÄ-devo
bahudhÄ nirbibheda kham

 hiraṇmayÄt - golden; aṇá¸a-koÅ›Ät - from the egg; utthÄya - arising; salile - on the water; Å›ayÄt - lying; tam - in it; ÄviÅ›ya - having entered; mahÄ-devaḥ - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; bahudhÄ - in many ways; nirbibheda - divided; kham - apertures.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, the virÄá¹­-puruá¹£a, situated Himself in that golden egg, which was lying on the water, and He divided it into many departments.
