लोके कपिल इत्याख्यां गन्ता ते कीर्तिवर्धनः ॥१९॥

sÄá¹…khyÄcÄryaiḥ susammataḥ
loke kapila ity ÄkhyÄá¹
gantÄ te kÄ«rti-vardhanaḥ
ayam - this Personality of Godhead; siddha-gaṇa - of the perfected sages; adhÄ«Å›aḥ - the head; sÄá¹…khya-ÄcÄryaiḥ - by ÄcÄryas expert in SÄá¹…khya philosophy; su-sammataḥ - approved according to Vedic principles; loke - in the world; kapilaḥ iti - as Kapila; ÄkhyÄm - celebrated; gantÄ - He will go about; te - your; kÄ«rti - fame; vardhanaḥ - increasing.
Your son will be the head of all the perfected souls. He will be approved by the ÄcÄryas expert in disseminating real knowledge, and among the people He will be celebrated by the name Kapila. As the son of DevahÅ«ti, He will increase your fame.
SÄá¹…khya philosophy is the philosophical system enunciated by Kapila, the son of DevahÅ«ti. The other Kapila, who is not the son of DevahÅ«ti, is an imitation. This is the statement of BrahmÄ, and because we belong to BrahmÄ’s disciplic succession we should accept his statement that the real Kapila is the son of DevahÅ«ti and that real SÄá¹…khya philosophy is the system of philosophy which He introduced and which will be accepted by the ÄcÄryas, the directors of spiritual discipline. The word susammata means “accepted by persons who are counted upon to give their good opinion.â€
