एवमुग्रश्रवाः पृष्ट ऋषिभिर्नैमिषायनैः ।
भगवत्यर्पिताध्यात्मस्तानाह श्रूयतामिति ॥७॥

evam ugraÅ›ravÄḥ pṛṣṭa
ṛṣibhir naimiá¹£Äyanaiḥ
bhagavaty arpitÄdhyÄtmas
tÄn Äha Å›rÅ«yatÄm iti

 evam - thus; ugraÅ›ravÄḥ - SÅ«ta GosvÄmÄ«; pṛṣṭaḥ - being asked; á¹›á¹£ibhiḥ - by the sages; naimiá¹£a-ayanaiḥ - who were assembled in the forest of Naimiá¹£a; bhagavati - unto the Lord; arpita - dedicated; adhyÄtmaḥ - his mind; tÄn - to them; Äha - said; Å›rÅ«yatÄm - just hear; iti - thus.

On being asked to speak by the great sages of Naimiá¹£Äraṇya, the son of Romahará¹£aṇa, SÅ«ta GosvÄmÄ«, whose mind was absorbed in the transcendental pastimes of the Lord, said: Please hear what I shall now speak.
