Å›rÄ«-Å›uka uvÄca
niÅ›amya vÄcaá¹ vadato
muneḥ puṇyatamÄá¹ ná¹›pa
bhūyaḥ papraccha kauravyo
vÄsudeva-kathÄdá¹›taḥ
Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; niÅ›amya - after hearing; vÄcam - talks; vadataḥ - while speaking; muneḥ - of Maitreya Muni; puṇya-tamÄm - the most virtuous; ná¹›pa - O King; bhÅ«yaḥ - then again; papraccha - inquired; kauravyaḥ - the best amongst the Kurus (Vidura); vÄsudeva-kathÄ - topics on the subject of the personality of Godhead, VÄsudeva; Ädá¹›taḥ - one who so adores.
The word Ädá¹›taḥ is significant because it indicates that Vidura had a natural inclination for hearing the transcendental message of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and he was never fully satisfied though continuing to hear those topics. He wanted to hear more and more so that he could be more and more blessed by the transcendental message.
