कच्चित्सुखं सात्वतवृष्णिभोज
दाशार्हकाणामधिपः स आस्ते ।
यमभ्यषिञ्चच्छतपत्रनेत्रो
नृपासनाशां परिहृत्य दूरात् ॥२९॥

kaccit sukhaá¹ sÄtvata-vṛṣṇi-bhoja-
dÄÅ›ÄrhakÄṇÄm adhipaḥ sa Äste
yam abhyaṣiñcac chata-patra-netro
ná¹›pÄsanÄÅ›Äá¹ parihá¹›tya dÅ«rÄt

 kaccit - whether; sukham - is all well; sÄtvata - the SÄtvata race; vṛṣṇi - the Vṛṣṇi dynasty; bhoja - the Bhoja dynasty; dÄÅ›ÄrhakÄṇÄm - the DÄÅ›Ärha race; adhipaḥ - King Ugrasena; saḥ - he; Äste - does exist; yam - whom; abhyaá¹£iñcat - installed; Å›ata-patra-netraḥ - Lord ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa; ná¹›pa-Äsana-ÄÅ›Äm - hope of the royal throne; parihá¹›tya - giving up; dÅ«rÄt - at a distant place.

O my friend, [tell me] whether Ugrasena, the King of the SÄtvatas, Vṛṣṇis, Bhojas and DÄÅ›Ärhas, is now doing well. He went far away from his kingdom, leaving aside all hopes of his royal throne, but Lord Kṛṣṇa again installed him.
