evaá¹ hy anÄdi-nidhano
bhagavÄn harir Ä«Å›varaḥ
kalpe kalpe svam ÄtmÄnaá¹
vyÅ«hya lokÄn avaty ajaḥ

 evam - thus; hi - indeed; anÄdi - without beginning; nidhanaḥ - or end; bhagavÄn - the Personality of Godhead; hariḥ - Lord Hari; Ä«Å›varaḥ - the supreme controller; kalpe kalpe - in each day of BrahmÄ; svam ÄtmÄnam - Himself; vyÅ«hya - expanding into various forms; lokÄn - the worlds; avati - protects; ajaḥ - the unborn Lord.

For the protection of all the worlds, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Hari, who is unborn and without beginning or end, thus expands Himself during each day of BrahmÄ into these specific categories of His personal representations.
