ya evam etad bhá¹›gu-varya varṇitaá¹
rathÄá¹…ga-pÄṇer anubhÄva-bhÄvitam
samÅ›rÄvayet samśṛṇuyÄd u tÄv ubhau
tayor na karmÄÅ›aya-saá¹sá¹›tir bhavet

 yaḥ - who; evam - thus; etat - this; bhá¹›gu-varya - O best of the descendants of Bhá¹›gu (Åšaunaka); varṇitam - described; ratha-aá¹…ga-pÄṇeḥ - of Lord ÅšrÄ« Hari, who carries a chariot wheel in His hand; anubhÄva - with the potency; bhÄvitam - infused; samÅ›rÄvayet - causes anyone to hear; samśṛṇuyÄt - himself hears; u - or; tau - they; ubhau - both; tayoḥ - of them; na - not; karma-ÄÅ›aya - based on the mentality of fruitive work; saá¹sá¹›tiḥ - the cycle of material life; bhavet - there is.

O best of the Bhá¹›gus, this account concerning MÄrkaṇá¸eya Ṛṣi conveys the transcendental potency of the Supreme Lord. Anyone who properly narrates or hears it will never again undergo material existence, which is based on the desire to perform fruitive activities.
