yuyudhuḥ krodha-saá¹rabdhÄ
velÄyÄm ÄtatÄyinaḥ
dhanurbhir asibhir bhallair
gadÄbhis tomararṣṭibhiḥ

 yuyudhuḥ - they fought; krodha - with anger; saá¹rabdhÄḥ - thoroughly agitated; velÄyÄm - on the shore; ÄtatÄyinaḥ - bearing weapons; dhanurbhiḥ - with bows; asibhiḥ - with swords; bhallaiḥ - with a peculiarly shaped arrow; gadÄbhiḥ - with clubs; tomara - with lances; á¹›á¹£á¹­ibhiḥ - and spears.

Infuriated, they seized their bows and arrows, swords, bhallas, clubs, lances and spears and attacked one another on the shore of the ocean.
