pÄdya - of the water offered to the Lord for bathing His feet; arghya - the water offered to the Lord as a token of respectful greeting; ÄcamanÄ«ya - and the water offered to the Lord for washing His mouth; artham - placed there for the purpose; trīṇi - three; pÄtrÄṇi - the vessels; deÅ›ikaḥ - the worshiper; há¹›dÄ - by the 'heart' mantra; śīrá¹£á¹‡Ä - by the 'head' mantra; atha - and; Å›ikhayÄ - by the 'crown' mantra; gÄyatryÄ - and by the GÄyatrÄ« mantra; ca - also; abhimantrayet - he should perform purification by chanting.
