Å›rÄ«-bhagavÄn uvÄca
evam etad ahaá¹ pṛṣá¹aḥ
praÅ›naá¹ praÅ›na-vidÄá¹ vara
yuyutsunÄ vinaÅ›ane
sapatnair arjunena vai
Å›rÄ«-bhagavÄn uvÄca - the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; evam - thus; etat - this; aham - I; pṛṣá¹aḥ - was asked; praÅ›nam - the question or topic; praÅ›na-vidÄm - of those who know how to inquire; vara - you who are the best; yuyutsunÄ - by him who desired to fight; vinaÅ›ane - in the Battle of Kuruká¹£etra; sapatnaiḥ - with his rivals or enemies; arjunena - by Arjuna; vai - indeed.
Lord Kṛṣṇa was pleased that His two friends, Arjuna and Uddhava, had posed the same question regarding the opulences of the Personality of Godhead. Lord Kṛṣṇa considered it wonderful that His two dear friends had asked exactly the same question.
