na calasi - you do not move; na vadasi - you do not speak; udÄra - magnanimous; buddhe - whose intelligence; ká¹£iti-dhara - O mountain; cintayase - you are thinking; mahÄntam - great; artham - about a matter; api bata - perhaps; vasudeva-nandana - of the darling son of Vasudeva; aá¹…ghrim - the feet; vayam - we; iva - just as; kÄmayase - you desire; stanaiḥ - on your breasts (peaks); vidhartum - to hold.
O magnanimous mountain, you neither move nor speak. You must be pondering some matter of great importance. Or do you, like us, desire to hold on your breasts the feet of Vasudeva’s darling son?
Here the word stanaiḥ, “on your breasts,†refers to the mountain’s peaks.
