kṛṣṇo 'dÄt tasya ca striyaḥ

 naá¹­ÄnÄm - to the male performers; nartakÄ«nÄm - the female performers; ca - and; gÄ«ta - by singing; vÄdya - and playing musical instruments; upajÄ«vinÄm - who earned their livelihoods; krÄ«á¸Ä - from His sports; alaá¹…kÄra - the ornaments; vÄsÄá¹si - and garments; kṛṣṇaḥ - Lord Kṛṣṇa; adÄt - gave; tasya - His; ca - and; striyaḥ - wives.


Text

Afterward, Lord Kṛṣṇa and His wives would give the ornaments and clothing they had worn during their water sports to the male and female performers, who earned their livelihood from singing and from playing instrumental music.
